Established in 2020

The team has a long list of partnering organizations and companies. The University of Uppsala with its broad research and competences in innovation patent and business development will be assisting the project development. Akademiska sjukhuset is also an important partner. Senior researchers will be on board and experienced business developers will assist the project deliverables. The team has applied for soft financing at ALMI foretags partners, and investigates other opportunities through the Region of Uppsala and the municipality. Discussions for joining Uppsala Innovation Center as well as bringing a large industrial partner on board (ongoing discussions with Ericsson) are also ongoing.

SenseTive's sustainability approach

SenseTive is a product that has a strong societal impact. Three of the Sustainibility Development Goals(SDG) that the product can contribute extensively are:

  • Good health (SDG No3), and especially 3.1 that by 2030 we need to reduce the global maternal mortality ratio to less than 70 per 100,000 live births.
  • Equal gender well being (more than gender equality) (SDG 5 especially : 5.B) enhancing the use of enabling technology, in particular information and communications technology, to promote the empowerment of women.
  • And promotion of economic growth (SDG 8 and especially 8.2 ) achieving a higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value added and labour-intensive sector
